*a phone buzzes as the editor picks it up and answers it*
Hey editor, it's Lbat! Let's go bowling!
*the editor immediately hangs up and puts their down only for Lbat to come bursting through the walls of their house*
Hey editor, let's go bowling!
*the editor just sits there while having an unamused look on their face*
You know that you're ruining the skit, right? *sighs* ...Guess, you've left me with no choice.
*Lbat proceeds to put the editor in a large bag and drags them all the way to a bowling ally*
Greetings there, fellow Eddheads! I'm your host Lbat and I'm here to give another Eddsworld episode review. Today, I'm here at this bowling alley. Why am I at a bowling alley? That's because the newest episode takes place at a bowling alley and I thought that it would the perfect place to be at just to give you my review on Pinheads. Without any further ado, let's get into the review.
The Review
After the beautiful animated intro ends, we find the boys at a bowling alley which Matt took them to for a day of fun. Matt then shows Tom and Edd on what the bowling alley features including smells which Tom then comments about the smell of feet.
Matt then realized that Tom was right about the smell of feet as he tries to not to pass out from it. Edd then comes up beside Matt while eating nachos. Matt questions where Edd found them which Edd proceeds to say that it was none of business before grabbing a cup of soda from... thin air?
Meanwhile Tom finds a bowling ball which reminded him of his mother as Tom gets emotional about it. Edd then comes up from behind Tom while holding a sundae and asks Tom what's wrong. Tom then tells Edd not to worry about it. In true Edd fashion, Edd proceeds to not worry about it.
Congratulations Tom, you've played yourself.
Anyway, Tom tells Edd that every time he goes out bowling something bad happens as the camera dramatically zooms in only for Edd to slowly get close to Tom and proceeds to eat a nacho. Tom then says that only idiots like bowling at we see Matt juggling bowling balls while saying that he likes bowling in the background. Shortly after that, a bowling ball hits Tom on the head.
We then see Edd at the automatic scorer about ready to start up a game. Edd says that he wants a simple, friendly game of bowling and not a big adventure with monsters and other things. Edd proceeds to ignore the fun-petition guy from Surf n Turf and an evil spirit which took control of the bowling alley's computer system while saying that he wants a normal game of bowling.
Tom then asks Edd why he was smiling only to look up at a computer which had uh... what's a word to describe what I'm going to say? Inappropriate? No, that's not right. Insulting? Close, but no. Hmm... Oh! Very silly names. Oh yeah, that's perfect.
Edd gave Tom, Matt, and himself very silly names which Tom wasn't all that impressed with. Tom proceeds to show Edd who could come up with way funnier names which got the attention of a mother and her daughter along with Edd who asks whatever Tom came up meant. Tom realizes that he made a typo and proceeds to fix which only made it worse as the mother shields her daughter's eyes.
Matt then comes up to Edd and Tom as he sees the names that Tom gave them and proceeds to point out that one of them was insulting a medical condition. The computer tells Matt that it was his turn as the computer shows that his name was Butt Face which made Matt really mad.
A montage begins as the boys show off their amazing bowling skills. Matt was the first to go as he manages to get a strike. The computer was impressed by this as Matt waves a kiss which the computer tells him that it was seeing someone else much to Matt's disappointment. Edd was the second one to bowl as he manages to get all the pins down expect for two. Edd proceeds to give the two pins a death stare as the pins fall down. Tom was the last one to go and..... his bowling ball proceeds to go "nope" and ends up in the lane gutters which the computer mocks Tom for being not good at bowling and proceeds to call him a loser before throwing a bowling ball at him.
Matt puts on a blindfold and does a back shot as he gets another strike. Edd does a Kamehameha which sends his bowling ball flying as green flames surround it which ends up giving him a strike as Matt only stood there in shock while the computer calls Edd "hot stuff".
While this was happening, Tom comes up with an idea to put himself in a cannon and use himself as a bowling ball. The cannon shoots Tom out only for him to miss the pins and ends up dough ting through a janitor's stomach which kills him instantly. We then cut to see Tom attending the janitor's funeral and eventually crying outside in the rain showing how devastated he felt for killing an innocent person.
After that, the montage continues as both Edd and Matt managed to do well while Tom was out there struggling. Feeling fed up, Tom attempts to destroy the bowling lane only to get set flying up into the ceiling by the gutters. Once landing onto the ground, Tom gets mistaken as a bowling ball as he gets sent flying down the lane into a couple of pins.
The montage ends as Matt waits for Tom to come up as he asks if that was it which Tom replies saying that it isn't. Tom goes over to Edd as he points out that Edd was very close to winning a perfect game. Matt tells everyone to be cool as Edd readies himself to win the game. Before he could do anything, Edd accidentally trips over his shoelace and ends up dropping his bowling ball which causes it go flying as Tom and Matt looked on in fear.
The bowling ball hits several walls as it ends up heading a massive bowling ball which causes an Indiana Jones moment as the ball begins rolling around. It ended up killing an entire family expect for one child. The guy who owned ball was sadden by how his massive bowling ball came off of its pedestal only to try to lighten up his mood by pointing out that he had a second massive bowling ball. However, he accidentally causes it to come off of its pedestal as the second bowling ball ends up killing the only surviving child in the process.
Edd's bowling ball comes back and goes down the lane as the trio watches in great suspense as the ball hits the pins expect for one which causes Matt to let out a loud swear out of anger. Eventually the trio leaves as Tom tells Edd that he'll get it next time which Edd smiles only for Tom to say that he doesn't care. Once they were far enough, the pin ends up falling.
Matt then points out that nothing hasn't happened to Tom.
Uh Matt... I don't know if you noticed, but there was a lot of bad things that happened to Tom. He also killed a man, but it's whatever I guess.
Speaking of bad things, Tom crashed a ski jet that fell right on top of him. Uh, you guys should take him to a hospital. That doesn't look good. Just saying.
And that's how the episode ends.
The Verdict
So, is the new episode any good and is it worth watching?
Of course it is! I'm not going to sugarcoat it, this episode was amazing. Down the funny moments and the presentation.
Andy Clift, the director of this episode, did a great job with Pinheads especially since it's first time directing a Beyond episode. Hell, this year has given three good episodes, well two of them since Matt Gets The Mall is a short.
However, I do have one issue with Pinheads and that would be the audio mixing and the voices. I'm saying that the voice actors did a terrible job, it's just that, the voice acting sounded a little off in some parts of the episode especially the beginning portion of it. The biggest one had to be the part of the large family where two of the children had terrible sound quality.
To me it didn't sound that noticeable during the first watch but after watching it several more times while making this view, it became very noticeable. Oh my god, what happened during the progress while editing the sound to this episode?
Also, as much as I like George Gould and Ed Templer, the voice direction that were given didn't sound all that great. These two are very talented but they shouldn't gotten to do more. Regardless of that, Pinheads is a good episode.
I would've given it a higher score, but the sound quality kinda dropped the score down a bit.
My final score for Pinheads is a 8/10.
And that's going to do it. So, what are your thoughts on Pinheads? Did you think it was good or did think it was bad? Let me in the comments.
This has been your host Lbat and thank you for checking out my review. Now, if you excuse me, I'll be bowling with my- where did the editor go? They were sitting a minute ago. Huh.

I hope you have a great day. Goodbye
