It's been a full year since I've made my thoughts on the whole drama situation surrounding the ew team public. There was a lot and I mean a lot that happened during the summer of 2021. Despite that were serious allegations of Jamie Spicer Lewis being called out for grooming a minor, Bing calling TomTord shippers terrorists and having sexual allegations made against him, and Matt being called out for being ableist towards DID systems, the drama got quickly swept under the rug. 

Yes, really. Even though the drama died off, we shouldn't forget what happened in terms of the internet. Once you post something online and eventually delete it, it doesn't go away. 

So, what does this have to do with my thoughts on the whole drama? Well, it should be worth noting that I was very neutral when I was talking about what happened between April to May 2021. All I basically wanted out of Bing and Matt, mostly Bing, was to make some sort of apology and they kinda did. Although Bing didn't really talk about allegations made against him but he apologized for the whole calling TomTord being terrorists thing. 

I've did brought up some of my issues with Beaster Bunny. However after many, many months of having my ventish thoughts on the ew crew drama on full display, there quite a few people who thought that I hated Beaster Bunny all because that there a pedo joke and a special needs joke in it that I didn't really like. 

I'm not gonna reveal any names for the sake of privacy. So, I'll be referring to only of them as seahorse. 

Seahorse did agree that the pacing for Beaster Bunny wasn't good, but they thought I said that one small joke made towards pedos and those special needs ruined the episode for me. Uh seahorse, where did I say that those jokes ruined the entire episode for me? Where did I say that? All I said was that the jokes were just uncalled for and were downright offensive. I didn't say that jokes made the episode bad. 

It's alright that you disagree with me, but saying that I dislike something doesn't mean that I hate the product even though there were some things that I've enjoyed while watching Beaster Bunny. 

Oh and uh, I am perfectly aware that Eddsworld always had dark humor especially during its early days, but you can't make dark jokes about pedophila. Pedophila is a serious topic. Edd may had made dark jokes, but he knew when not to cross the line and he knew that there were certain things that he couldn't joke about and one of them was pedophila. Also, I would like to bring up that fact that Edd was a teenager when he made Eddsworld and teenagers are bound to make dark jokes, but overtime they learn and they grow, so it's excusable. Matt on the otherhand is in his 30s making him a full grown adult and should know better. 

Look, I'm calling Matt a pedo, he should've read the script to Beaster Bunny more than maybe three times with someone so that said person could point out faults in the script. I heard that there were some complications in terms of production for Beaster Bunny and that they wanted it to be released in time for Easter so they pretty rushed it. Personally, I don't blame them for wanting to release Beaster Bunny on a certain day, but sadly, you don't always get what you want. Maybe if Beaster Bunny were to be released in late April 2021 or maybe somewhere in either July or August 2021, it would've turned out better than what we got. 

There is a motto and it goes like this: "A rushed product is always doomed to be forever bad rather than a product that took a longtime to be released" 

Again, I don't hate Beaster Bunny, it just could've been a lot better in my opinion. Hopefully, the next full length episode would be an improvement, but only time will tell. 

Oh and uh, before I forget, seahorse brought up faults on what I thought about the whole Vivziepop cameo in Beaster Bunny even though it wasn't an argument. Yeah, I could've worded it a lot better but during that time, she had a lot controversy surrounding her which I didn't feel like going over and that I found her cameo unnecessary. Also, most people don't even like Vivziepop nor her creations such as Haxbin Hotel or Helluva Boss due to, well, not being interested in them. Yeah, I just wanted to point that out real quick.
