Over many years of being in the Eddsworld fandom, I've seen a lot of amazing content along with some... questionable things.

Like with most fandoms, Eddsworld is no stranger to proshippers.

I've seen many fanfics where it's mostly Tom and Tord be shipped. Sometimes the ships are child Tom x adult Tord or Child Tord x adult.

Sounds messed up right? Oh, believe me I see stuff like this while exploring the deepest parts of fanfic sites such as Wattpad and ao3.

Ugh, ao3 is where I find stuff like this the most.

If you don't know what a proshipper is, it's basically someone who ships a adult with a minor. It also can sibling x sibling (also known as incest). Yeah.... it's disturbing.

Full grown adults do this type of stuff, but when a minor does things like this, it's even worse.

Recently there has been one person in particular that has been doing this. They go by Mankistudios/Appleotakuton on Tumblr.

I'm just going to say this right now that this person is a minor. 15 in fact.

I'm not going to have this be an open invitation to bash them harshly. Like, they already have been receiving a lot of negative anon asks on Tumblr going as far to call them a pedophile.

With that being said, do not go out of your way to harass them or send them death threats. Heck, don't even interact with them.

I just want to spread awareness on what they're doing is wrong.

Anyway, speaking of them getting negative asks, they respond to them saying that what they ship is fictional.

Manki, I get that shipping problematic is some sort of comfort to you, but saying that it's fictional doesn't help your case when your dealing with people that find these types of ships disturbing.

Then there's the whole Eddsworld characters being based on their real life counterparts arguement. Same answer: it's still f**ked up no matter how much you try to sweeten it up.

Also, according to them, lthey left the official EW server after mentioning adult Tord x child to a chat which I mind you that everyone can see as clear as day. Well, what did you expect was going happen? Of course people are going to question a ship like that.

Nobody and I mean nobody wants to see this kind of stuff even if it's sfw. Heck, even I don't. The same goes for the people who had to go through the pain of being in a relationship with an adult who got a little, you know, creepy towards them.

Manki, if you somehow managed to stumble upon this and have made it this far without closing put of the tab out of anger, i just want to let you know that I didn't make this out of my way to send an angry mob to give you hate.

I made this as a way to tell you that what you're doing is very wrong and messed up. I hope that you can change and find other things that aren't problematic.

I'm not forcing you, i'm just giving you a suggestion. At the end of day, it's mostly up to you, but be warned that there might be a huge callout post which would likely result to your name being thrown into the mud.
